About Me

I received my BSc(Eng) degree from the Department of Information Security, University of Science Technology of China (USTC) in 2013 and my Ph.D. degree from the Department of Information Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in 2017. My PhD supervisor is Wing Cheong Lau who is the director of Mobitec Center in CUHK. I am the head of the Tianwen AI Department and currently in charge of the research and development of Security GPT at Sangfor Technology Co., Ltd..

Key Achievements

Security GPT (Large Language Model for Security)

  • First in China to launch security-focused LLM (second globally after Microsoft), and first security company to receive dual approval from Cyberspace Administration of China
  • Discovered 547 zero-day vulnerabilities in the wild since 2023 through cloud-based analysis, submitted to National CNNVD (336 recorded, including 57 high-risk vulnerabilities)
  • Successfully detected multiple APT phishing attacks targeting key national research institutions
  • 1st Place in "LLM-Generated Content Security Risk Detection" at the CAC AI-Empowered Cybersecurity Application Test
  • 1st Place in "Phishing Email Identification" at the CAC AI-Empowered Cybersecurity Application Test

Next-Generation Firewall & Security Intelligence Platform

  • Led the design of WISE Intelligent Semantic Engine and Sense Attack Success Engine, significantly improving attack detection capabilities
  • Contributed to Next-Generation Firewall achieving AAA rating from CyberRatings.org (formerly NSS Labs) (the only in China)
  • Helped Security Intelligence Platform (SIP) maintain "Leader" position in IDC MarketScape for three consecutive years
